Marissa Ann Gilley (she/her)
CSW
MarissaG@holisticelementsmht.com
I believe healing happens best with someone who truly understands how heavy things can feel. As someone who has had my fair share of managing life's twists and turns, I offer a nonjudgmental space that welcomes every part of you-the real, the messy, and the deeply human. I am committed to meeting you exactly where you are and walking alongside you as you navigate whatever comes next.
l use a variety of approaches including: DBT, CBT, parts work, and motivational interviewing. I have experience working with individuals navigating identity changes, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent individuals, and those facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use.
In my free time, I enjoy going on adventures with my partner and our three fur babies (Sprout, Finn, and Lulu). I also love being creative and working on way too many craft projects at one time.
Cari Seay (she/her)
CSW CariS@holisticelementsmht.com
Therapy with me is real, collaborative, person-centered, and grounded in actual human connection. I care a lot about helping people get past surface-level survival mode conversations and into the deeper stuff people usually keep locked away somewhere between their nervous system, their humor, and their soul.
I’ve spent the last 6 years working in residential mental health and substance use treatment with people navigating trauma, addiction, severe mental illness, grief, identity struggles, and some of the messier parts of being human. My background in peer support shapes a huge part of how I connect with people, and while I now practice with stronger clinical boundaries as a therapist, I still believe healing happens best when people feel genuinely understood rather than analyzed from across the room.
I use CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed care, but some of the most important parts of therapy are authenticity, curiosity, accountability, and being able to laugh occasionally while unpacking hard things. Outside of therapy, I love psychology, music, conversations that accidentally turn existential at 1 a.m., creative projects, and trying to understand why human beings do the weird things we do. I believe clients deserve to stay in the driver’s seat of their own healing while having someone beside them who is willing to help navigate the chaos without judgment.
